Question by !: If you were to eat only one type of food for a “fast”, what food would help you lose weight fastest?
My friendrecently told me that she went on a “grape” fast, (she ate only grapes for two weeks, and along with the grapes and lots of water, she apparently lose like 8 pounds! No one told her that would work, she just sort of experimented. And since it was successful, I thought that I might try something like that as well…though I don’t think I’ll do it for two weeks.
So I guess my question is, simply: what food, if not grapes, would help me lose weight the fastest, if eaten by itself for a week?
Examples, (but I don’t know if these help you lose wight or not) raw carrots, apples, tuna, crackers, etc.
Also, if you know something that would work, tell me if you know why it would work. (just because I like knowing that there’s reasoning behind eating something.)
First of all, GEEZ its not like I said i want to live off of one food for my whole life. like a WEEK. and anyone who makes a big deal out of that i know doesn’t know what they’re talking about. and dos, yes, the most original reason why people fast is for spiritual reasons but nowadays way more people fast for health and weight loss. and third…who cares if my friend was technically “starving”. she looks HOT so since no one gave me great advice, except maybe trying out vegetarianism for a while, well i guess I’ll just do it her way

You need a variety of foods in your diet.Different foods have different nutrients.That is why we need variety.
Having a single food for a certain period of time can cause health issues.
How about you try eating less and moving a around a little more?
